Musings on a Saturday Morning

  • Is is an indication of mental illness that I start each day listening to Baar Baar Dehko? Tally Ho!

  • Here are the opening lyrics of the song in Hindi and English, courtesy of Charlie:
Look again and again

Look a thousand times

For my sweetheart is worth looking at

Tally ho

Where are Anna, Mom and Betsy on this blog? Is it a men only club?

  • Pandora is a great free Internet music service. Brian...are you using it? Try the mix feature, its my favorite.

  • Mike Vincent...Theresa Webber's brother...and his wife Margo will be staying at The Lake House in June.

  • I met a guy in Ishpeming yesterday who is a musician. He spent much of his musical life in Seattle and knew Kurt Cobaine. The guy's name is Kurt also, ironically enough. He said he used the same studio as Nirvana when the band was coming up. He thought they were the worst musicians he had ever heard and was shocked when they made it.

  • The three obituary nicknames on our refrigerator right now are: "Windy", "Fuzzy", and "Puddy".

  • I'm going to Negaunee now to pick up some furniture for Divine Consign.

With windy, fuzzy, and puddy out there, I think three of the seven dwarves have lost their jobs.

My vote goes to grumpy (for obvious reasons), sneezy (for spreading disease), and bashful (because you know one day he's gonna snap and go postal on everyone).

Oh - and the reason your Hindi lyrics didn't appear in your post is because you enclosed them in angle brackets (less than, greater than). Because these are used in HTML for formatting , the Blog will interpret any text inside the brackets as formatting instructions, and will not display them.
